This week players on the Scandinavian Internet poker site Best Poker.com will become part of the expanding Ongame network, joining millions of players on other websites pooled under the Ongame system.
Chief executive of Best Poker, Henrik Persson, said: “We chose Ongame because of its technologically superior software, its very large number of players and the fact that they also offer a Java version which enables our customers to play directly from the website without having to download any software. The Ongame Network also allows us to customize our interface to a great extent.”
The head of Ongame, Martin Lerby, complimented Best Poker on becoming such a strong force in the Scandinavian market in a relatively short time span, and announced that the company would soon be launching the first online VIP Shop on the network.
A subsidiary of the Austrian public company Bwin, Ongame is a member of eCOGRA, the player protection and standards body which monitors all software and operational activity on its member sites to ensure efficiency and fair play.
