Victor Chandler, the Gibraltar based online bookie group has teamed up with Admiral Taverns of the UK in the launching of a new pub poker site branded vcpubpoker.com. The site is exclusively for customers of the 2,700 public house “Admiral Taverns” group.
The chief executive of Victor Chandler International, Michael Carlton, commented: “The fun of playing at the local can continue at home after the pubs close with pub patrons taking their seats at the online poker tables as well. Thanks to this partnership with Admiral Taverns, individual pub owners will be given the chance to realize the substantial revenues associated with the online poker phenomenon whilst affording their customers a preferred membership in an exclusive gaming community.”
Patrons of the pub group will be offered weekly freerolls, as well as hundreds of regular prizes, such as luxury chip sets and holiday packages to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
