Betsson, the Swedish betting group, recently reorganized from the Cherry Fortragen group, has issued a statement clarifying its own position vis-à-vis the American legislative attempts to curb US financial transactions to online gambling companies.
According to the statement, Betsson's operations are carried out within two independent business areas; Betsson Online which provides online gaming to Internet gamblers and Net Entertainment which sells system and software solutions for online gaming.
Net Entertainment receives less than 8 percent of its income from the U.S., while Betsson Online receives a mere 3 percent of its income from the U.S. Betsson Online's two major brands.
Both Betsson.com and CasinoEuro.com - have, for sometime now, not accepted customers from the U.S.
