On Demand Funds (ODF) to Shut Down August 18

Customers with funds at online cash merchant, On Demand Funds, are being warned to make their withdrawals before August 18. A communication sent to customers by the firm states that "OnDemandFunds would like to take this opportunity to thank you for using us as your deposit option. However, we are writing to notify you that
we will cease operation on August 18, 2006.”

Key dates customers should adhere to for the winding down of services include August 11, which is the last date for making deposits to accounts, and August 18 for the last day for withdrawals. Access to all ODF customer accounts will be suspended at 3pm EST on Friday, August 18.
