E-Wallet Ecocard Is The Latest Victim Of UIGEA

Yet another form of making online gambling deposits will be denied to US players following the news that the e-wallet EcoCard is to withdraw from the US market soon.

David Brickman, a spokesperson for the Jackpot Factory online gambling group has confirmed the reports and rumors that the company is about to leave the US. Brickman said: “I'd like to clarify the EcoCard issue.”

“EcoCard has informed us, and I am sure other casinos as well, that they will be pulling out of the US gaming market and replacing their EcoCard payment option with a new option. Their existing US customers will be transferred to the new option. Only players who have accumulated $500 or more in gaming transactions will be invited to move over to the new payment method.”

Brickman added that more precise information would be made available in the near future.
