Online poker tournaments are drawing in the crowds and money

The high value tournament is one the online gambling world's phenomenon. Recently, the three most popular of these tournaments were investigated. For this phenomenon that fuels thousands of dollars each time is becoming a regular happening in online poker.

The two finalists went head to head for the final first prize that exceeded $260, 000. this is the type of prize more typically to be found at a major casino competition. However, it is becoming the norm at online casinos too. Second place was awarded over $161, 000 and the eight finalists each won over $18, 000 in rewards.

In relative terms, this was not some extra-ordinary event in the world of online gaming. It is however a sign of the ongoing activities and action that take place each week at the range of online poker sites. These competitions are often overlooked by publicity and media, for the much larger and grander online gaming events.
