URU-ing is the new Googling

GB Group recently reported impressive growth results for the year. This includes a fourteen percent growth in revenues and doubling of their client numbers.
GB Group is the marketing group for the URU identity authentication facility. URU, on the other hand, has is a joint enterprise with the British Telecom – the company mostly used for eCommerce and eGaming.
The director for the data authentication software at GB Group, Miles Carroll stated that the company's sales have rocketed by a substantial amount. Additionally, since the company has focused on its larger clients its customer service has unequivocally improved. The massive boom in the gaming industry has also made a huge impact on the company.

according to Carroll, the company has even coined a new English term. Just like the creators of Google have coined the term 'googling' as referring to an internet search. Undertaking an ID check is also commonly being known as 'URU-ing'. In the world of egaming, URU dominates over eighty percent of the market share in the United Kingdom. The next biggest rival governing over just seven percent.

Spokesman for the company endorsed the industry's move to protect the young and vulnerable. Identification verification is one step in the battle against fraudsters. Also particularly important is the 2007 implementation of licenses under the 2005 United Kingdom Gambling Act.

According to Richard Law, Chief Executive of GB Group, the company is predicted to double in size every two years for the next four years. This will be boosted by the rise in electronic identity checks throughout the UK which is expected to rise to over three hundred million electronic checks a year in the next four years. It is also predicted to be worth over two hundred million pounds.
