Playtech signs with Mahjong games

Playtech has signed an exclusive deal in licensing terms with Tanksoft Inc.
The Turnkey provider signed the deal with the Mahjong gaming software specialist in order to enhance its expansion hopes into the Asian market.
The allows Playtech the opportunity to create and offer country specific versions of Mahjong games by the end of this year.

According to Avira Zmora, Playtech's CEO, the company already has eleven sites catering specifically for the Asian market. Zmora added the company searched for the best partner in order to produce and ensure the quality  of their products for the company's licensees. Zmora believes that with Tanksoft's market edge games as well as Playtech's functionality and tested core gaming platform will mean greater penetration into the Asian market by the end of this year.
Tanksoft is no stranger to Mahjong products. In fact the company has been developing them for over six years, beginning in 2000. additionally Dr Tai Up Kim, the company CEO has been involved with the game for thirty years.

according to Dr Kim, many companies approached Tanksoft. However, only Playtech recognized the urgency of taking measures to negate collusions – these are the features that make his company's games unique. He added his optimism for the future by predicting the combination between a dynamic and reliable game with Playtech's reputed platform to successfully lead the world in Mahjong opportunities.
