Chinese acquisition for Bet on Sports

Multi million dollar deals featured on Bet On Sport's landscape this week as the group moved its Asian aspirations up a gear.

Listed on the London Stock Exchange, Bet on Sports recently announced its intention to acquire China facing sportsbook Hooball and 777ball. This will result in the doubling of BoS’s market presence in Asia.
The company is completely online based. Most of its customer content are located in Guangdong and Zheziang provinces, Beijing and Shanghai. The company focuses on football and basketball.
Easy bets will completely integrate the company into its operating structure in Malaysia. This will improve management control, cost savings, processing channels. It will also enhance key personnel skills and product diversification.
According to a company spokesman, the acquisitions are taking place in a profit. Indeed, reports reveal that last years profit before tax was over US $3 million. While, current figures show that $120 million is handled per annum at a gross rate.
 
Bet on sports Chief Executive Officer, David Carruthers commented that the acquisition is not simply about enhancing the company’s earnings. David remarked that the acquisition is instead a strategic step to enter China’s market and thereby consolidate the company’s presence in this market.

David continued that the company’s brands meet Bet on Sports high standards of profitability, territorial expertise, straightforward IT integration and robust processing channels combined with effective risk management. The CEO believes the integration of the two companies will produce positive results in the near future, that will be apparent to all. He added that acquiring a sportsbook that is soccer centric right before the world cup is not a stupid business move at all.

According to CEO of Hooball, now Easy bets business development manager, Max Hsiun, he is delighted to be apart of the new group and looks forward to the long term benefits and prospects the companies will be able to enjoy in cooperation.
