Charlotte Skinner has been appointed as the new Marketing Manager at Clarion ATE with direct responsibility for the London Shows ATEI, ICE and ICEi. A 28-year-old Business and Marketing graduate and holder of a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Charlotte brings experience from the event organizing industry.
Charlotte has also worked in marketing for high profile organizations including the Royal Automobile Club (RAC), Churchill Insurance and most recently, Britain’s Ministry of Defense (MoD). Charlotte will also be involved in other sectors of Clarion ATE’s b2b portfolio, including The Betting Show and the revamped AMUSE 2008.
Ladbrokes, the major betting group which is also London based, said that it has appointed Brian Wallace as group finance director to replace Rosemary Thorne who will leave the firm next month to pursue new challenges. Wallace was formerly deputy chief executive and group finance director of the Hilton Group. He will join the firm as the group finance director with immediate effect, the company said in a statement.
Edward Ihre, formerly of Ongame/Safeplay Ltd. has joined the poker site, PokerStars.com, as the new Director of Partners and Affiliates, where his direct responsibility will be identifying and building new growth opportunities.
Ihre said, "I’m really looking forward to joining PokerStars.com. This is an exciting time to be working with such a well regarded company."
