Ted Forrest wins the National Heads Up Poker Tournament

And the New National Heads Up Poker Champion is…..
Ted Forrest.
Following over 60 matches spread over three grueling days at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Ted Forrest finally walked out the crowned champion and $500, 000 richer.
The professional poker player won the big title and prize money in the second annual National Heads Up Poker Championship.
The final was fought between the two players: Forrest against Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson. The competition was the best two out of three.
Both players started with an equal amount of chips. They each commenced with a value of 640,000. They continued play until one emerged clearly ahead of the other.
Nevertheless, Ferguson did not leave with his pockets totally dry. He took away $250, 000 in prize money  as the runner up, for the second year in a row.

Many of the most famous and well known players were around and participated.
They were all eliminated during the three days leading up to the final.
The tournament will be broadcast on NBC. It will play as a ten hour package beginning on April 16th.
Like last year, the competition will be re-broadcasted on NBC's cable outlet – CNBC allowing several opportunities for punters to catch the games and highlights.
