Canada is about to get poker TV, live

River Belle Partners is one of the most trusted, recognized and frequented online entertainment brands, globally.
It therefore stirred much excitement when they recently announced their partnership with Poker Live Canada.
They plan to broadcast a daily program via CGTV, for poker enthusiast throughout Canada.

CGTV is a Canadian cable channel. This channel specializes in gaming entertainment.
According to the deal, the program will be broadcast every Saturday and Thursday night, where the players will be participating on the River Belle branded felt. The idea is not new, however. A British version has already spawned much success.

The program, Poker Night Live, will include a virtual poker table with players participating online.
A commentary will be provided by two experienced, professional and passionate players.
The program gives poker players the opportunity to observe online poker and how its played, thus improving on their own skills.
Furthermore, for the first time, Canadian players have a live forum to exhibit and enjoy the game and their skills.
The program will also be available through River Belle Online Poker software.
River Belle has lately been adding to their online products. They launched recently a new online poker room which included playing options such as Texas Hold'em, Omah Hi/low and several other variants of poker.

River Belle Online Poker is a unique poker site. It allows players the opportunity to design their own tables and produce weekly poker nights with friends. Their games offer players the choice of pre-selecting their seats, as well as locating other players or searching for favorite tables.

Chairman of the Carmen Media Group, Tim Johnson stated that the partnership will provide a rare opportunity for players – by allowing them to showcase their skills live on national television. He added that they were excited to be in business with River Belle and providing the program to the Canadian Market.
