Online Gaming Joins with Facebook Popularity

RummyRoyal.net., a new no-download Rummy network,  being launched by RMRoyal Media. According to RMRoyal Media, the network is being targeted at the casual gaming market and is autonomous from the RummyRoyal.com platform.
There is a wide variety of Rummy games available to players to allow them to perfect their Rummy skills in one or more online games such as Traditional Rummy, in addition to Kalooki 40, Oklahoma Gin, Gin, and the all-around most popular game Rummy 51 (also known as Kalooki). While players can use the RummyRoyal.net site to play Rummy games they are also able to use the Facebook application, the worlds’ largest social network, to connect and to play online.

Flash technology is used in the design of the RummyRoyal.net software. This allows players to use any browser to connect to the network without having to download and install any software.  Available Facebook marketing features are being employed along with the advanced interface, including the friendly interface which allows online players to invite their Facebook friends. Also included are Leader boards and promotional coupons.

A RMRoyal Media company spokesman has said that platforms like Facebook allow social games such as Rummy to be spread through the use of word of mouth alone. It also allows players to take advantage of the great tools that Facebook has to offer. These can be used to increase awareness of the RummyRoyal brand.

Already large numbers of players who have registered accounts are being reported by the company even though The RummyRoyal.net product was launched only at the beginning of December 2008.

Other social networks are being also considered by RM Royal Media which has plans to expand and integrate its game offerings into such social networks as MySpace and Bebo. This is set to be carried out by the end of the first quarter of 2009 and will guaranteeh  increased growth of the number of social players further extending the popularity of the game.
